Is this country back on track?

September 3rd, 2010

Hello! Today when I was surfing the web, I ran across this bankruptcy question. Check it out!

It seems that the major crisises have been solved. It was good to see an Emmy show where nobody was upset. The economy, oil spill, health care, banking crisises have been addressed so that nobody was upset. Not one issue was raised at the Emmys. That is a good thing.

Now we can focus on long term goals of getting the troops home, cap and trade, and the middle east peace process.

Have you noticed the sudden change in the meaning of liberalism?

September 2nd, 2010

Hello! Here is an interesting bankruptcy question with some good answers.

The wiki page about liberalism was recently changed. See for yourself.

Here is the new meaning:
Liberalism (from the Latin liberalis, “of freedom”) is the belief in the importance of liberty and equality. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but most liberals support such fundamental ideas as constitutions, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, FAIR DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH, free trade, and the separation of church and state. These ideas are widely accepted, even by political groups that do not openly profess a liberal ideological orientation.”

Here is the old one:
“Liberalism (from the Latin liberalis, “of freedom”) is the belief in the importance of liberty and equality. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but most liberals support such fundamental ideas as constitutions, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, CAPITALISM, free trade, and the separation of church and state. These ideas are widely accepted, even by political groups that do not openly profess a liberal ideological orientation.”

Why are progressives trying to change the meaning of liberalism? Should liberals start calling themselves what they really are? Socialist progressives?

I often wondered about the same bankruptcy question. If you know more about this question, please share your knowledge.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

old account on credit report?

August 31st, 2010

How is it going? I was walking through the mall today and I thought of a good bankruptcy question. Well, here it is. I think you will find it helpful.

I have an account on my credit report that was opened in March of 2005. It was last reported in 2005. It says N/A for balance and it shows $250 for credit limit. The SoL in Ky is 5 years for open ended acounts. Can I dispute this and have it removed from my credit report. The account is First Premier Bank (may be an old credit card, I can’t for sure remember).

That was an interesting bankruptcy question. Hopefully it has improved your knowledge on the subject.

What counts as a serious delinquency on your credit report?

August 30th, 2010

Howdy! Here is a great bankruptcy question for your perusal.

Certain cards such as chase, require that your credit history is clear of bankruptcy, serious delinquencies or denied credit by them for 6 months.

What counts as a serious delinquency, 30/60/90 days late? And how long do any type of delinquencies stay on your credit report?
also are they as bad as a bankruptcy on your report, or they’re not weighed as heavily? do longer delinquencies have more of an impact than lesser, and more years for them to fall off, or is that all equal?

That was an interesting bankruptcy question. Hopefully it has improved your knowledge on the subject.

Unbiased stand on issues (democrats vs republicans)?

August 29th, 2010

Greetings! Well, here is a bankruptcy question that will help answer a common query. Good luck!

I am looking for someone out there who can provide me with links and resources that list the differences between democrats and republicans as far as where each party stands on key issues. Usually what I can find online are poorly crafted comparisons that are one sided and not very well put together. I know everyone’s opinion will be a little biased one way or another, so I know I will probably get some bum answers, but I’d like to have ideas from both sides to understand where people are coming from better and help others to come together and understand our differences more.

Also, if you can’t think of anything that is good about the other party, just saying what is good in your party and what you support without bashing the other guys would help too. If however you do have something annoys you, and you have facts to back it up, i’d be open to hearing that too. Hope you’ve all got your political hats on tonight :)

Didn’t you enjoy that? I did. I think I may add my own answer to that bankruptcy question. How about you?

How do I use my credit card wisely?

August 28th, 2010

Greetings! Well, here is a bankruptcy question that will help answer a common query. Good luck!

I just got a Capital One Visa card with a $500 limit. So far, I have charged about $80.00 on it. I have the money to pay it off in full but I am wondering what are the tips and tricks of credit to make my score go up. I am 22 and my credit sucks so it’s a miracle that I got this card, I don’t want to play around and I don’t want them to close my account. I had a credit card before but it was in my dad’s name and I was put on as in authorized user and it showed up on my credit report ( I was age 16-19 at the time, are they allowed to do that? I was an authorized user, not a co-signer). Anyway, what are some tips and tricks to clean up my credit? I am thankful that I was approved and I know don’t go over my limit and only buy things I can actually pay for but what do I do? There are a lot of pulls on my credit report (I applied for MANY cards, MANY times. I know, not a good idea) and then there is the thing I was talking about before, the authorized user thing. It was paid in full but I don’t know.

Help/ideas?

That was just the bankruptcy question I was looking for. Great answers, too. With any luck, it was the one you were searching for, as well.

Is Mexicana Airlines offering flights from California to Guadalajara?

August 26th, 2010

Howdy! Here is a good bankruptcy question. Please feel free to add your comments to the mix!

I just went to the website to check the prices on a flight from Fresno or San Jose, California to Guadalajara and it didnt offer me the option to depart from any airport in the United States. Does that mean they aren’t offer those flights anymore? Or is the website malfunctioning.

Mi pregunta es si Mexicana sigue ofreciendo vuelos de Fresno, CA o San Jose, CA hasta Guadalajara porque fui al sitio y no me dejo poner ningun aeropuerto estadounidense como el lugar de origen.

Criminal and Credit Check?

August 25th, 2010

Greetings! Here is a bankruptcy question I found when I was looking at Yahoo.

How long does it take for employer to make a criminal and credit check? I was told I will get a call the next day after it’s cleared and today is the 2nd day and still no call. I know my criminal record is crystal clear but my credit is kind of bad since I had trouble paying on time due to job loss and student loan on hold. Is that the factor behind not getting a call so far? Is time to panic??
