How does one file for bankruptcy?
How is it going? I was walking through the mall today and I thought of a good bankruptcy question. Well, here it is. I think you will find it helpful.
A coworker owes $40,000 all up. The following being, her car payments, 2 credit card loans. She tried to get a Re-finance bank loan, they declined. I suggested she uses her Superannuation fund. She enquired to the Human Resources, and was told that she, could not use her Super. My question..How does she or what are the procedures to filing for bankruptcy. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Tell her to a good debt counselor and they should be able to help her work all of this out. When I went through my bankruptcy i worked with CuraDebt and they were free and great. They helped save a lot of time and heartache. Have her get all her statements together and give them a call. They will her to work through each step of the process.

Go to the bank and tell them you want to,thats how my parents did it back in the 90s im sure you can print out the paperwork and send it by mail. Look up “bankruptcy application” for your state. Some rules and restrictions differ so some people may not be able to file for it.
My parents had to talk to their lawyer when they got it a 2nd time

I doubt if she will get a Bank Loan for re-finance from any bank. She needs to see legal aid, for help, that service is free.
