Is Terrell Owens broke?

Greetings! Well, here is a bankruptcy question that will help answer a common query. Good luck!

Why else would a future hall of famer stoop so low and play for an indoor football team? How much did it take for him to do this?

Very interesting. Sometimes questions can be helpful, and sometimes they create even more questions. This one created more.

Apparently he has said as much in a recent interview in GQ magazine. Something about poor real estate choices, bad business investments and child support woes if I recall correctly.

I see no reason to doubt him. Going from poverty to wealth to bankruptcy is a fairly common storyline in America. Some people find it hard to be responsible with a sudden and immense influx of money seen by lottery winners/pro athletes.

Since he has a small piece of ownership in the franchise, it actually sounds like he still wants to play in a limited way (he may not play in away games) because he enjoys the game and learn the ropes of running a team. It may take time to get playing out of his psyche, but this is setting up for a second career in football.

Im an eagles fan, and I am over the visit he spent in philly, before he was my favorite WR for many reasons, talent, build, stats, fantasy football, and entertainment. The one thing with Terrell as he has led his life as an open book its one: hes a competitor, and two: I think he is insecure and possibly identifies himself as a football player, (like most players) but will have a tough time walking away… I hope this stint brings him either a job offer in the spring from an NFL team or peace…. If he hadnt been such a polarizing figure maybe teams would give him another chance after surgery, I thought he could still play the one game on cable I saw when he was in Cincy….I dont know if hes broke… but Id think it could be something else like Id mentioned…

His current net worth is ZERO dollars. He actually has less than that because of what he owes.

He has 4 babies from 4 different mothers each of which require a child support payment of over $20,000 a month.

Forget the real estate, whatever. Its the baby making that has bled him dry. Wear a condom!

Maybe he’s trying to show that he’s still got what it takes to compete and since the NFL didn’t want him how else is he to prove that? I think his end goal is to be back in the NFL and he chose this as his forum to get seen.

He couldn’t get an NFL contract and he still wants to play since he obviously loves the game so he’s playing for them. I don’t see what the big deal is.

Maybe not right now but since he is part owner in an arena team now then he probably will be in the near future……

  8. ? Says:

No.He just wants to get back to playing football ,but no NFL team will give him a chance.

    Is Jerry Sandusky a pedophile?

  10. Kevin Says:

I highly doubt that. Just because you want to try something new doesn’t mean you’re broke.
